At Tiny Blessings, our desire is to provide a Christ-centered learning environment where both children and parents experience compassion, care, and love during these precious foundational years. We believe every child is a unique gift from God, created with individual personalities and purpose, and it is our goal to nurture each child and help them reach their fullest learning potential.
The heart of our ministry is found in Matthew 19:14: “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” This truth guides everything we do as we welcome, teach, and care for each child. We strive to create a place where children are drawn to the love of Christ, feel safe and valued, and begin building a strong spiritual foundation that will last a lifetime.
The joy found in children’s smiles, growth, and discovery makes teaching a truly rewarding experience. As we walk alongside families during these early years, we are reminded in Mark 9:37, “Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me,” which inspires us to serve each child and family with intentional love, grace, and care. With the support of our church family, Tiny Blessings serves as a nurturing outreach ministry to our community, creating meaningful memories that will be cherished for years to come. Our prayer is to raise each child in the ways of the Lord.
Tiny Blessings serves children ages six months through Pre-K4. We use the Weekday Early Education (WEE Learn) curriculum, which integrates biblical principles with foundational preschool skills. In addition to this curriculum, we incorporate a variety of enriching preschool resources. Children participate in prayer, learn biblical truths, and grow spiritually through regular chapel services.
Each child’s needs are met through age-appropriate learning experiences designed to encourage spiritual, academic, and social development. Our goal is to provide a Christ-centered environment where children can have fun, build confidence, and grow into all God has created them to be. As part of our commitment to serving our community with Christ’s love, Tiny Blessings welcomes and admits students of all races, colors, and national or ethnic origins.
Our program meets three days a week—Monday, Wednesday, and Friday—from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM, running from September through May. We serve infants (six months) through four-year-olds. Tiny Blessings follows the Shelby County Board of Education calendar and observes scheduled holidays.
Enrollment is limited to ensure quality care and attention for each child. To register or learn more, please contact our Director, Michele Bradshaw. If a class is full, we encourage you to join our waiting list. There is no fee to be added, and openings are offered as they become available in the order names are received.
We would love the opportunity to meet your family. Tours are always welcome, and we would be honored to share our time, care, and love with your children. Thank you for your interest in the Tiny Blessings ministry of North Shelby Baptist Church.
