Simply put, we strive to love God, love one-another, and share Jesus with the world. As those who have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ, we want to bring Him glory in all we do, and this three-fold mission seeks to enable us to do just that. These three things are at the core of everything we do at North Shelby. The main way we seek to do each of these things is through our life together as a church, as this gospel community demonstrates the love we have for Jesus through our love for each other (John 13:35). We gather regularly together to sing God’s praises, offer our prayers, hear God’s Word, and care for one another through biblical fellowship and discipleship. We are committed to serve side by side, as we seek to see Jesus worshipped as the true King both here in Shelby County and to the ends of the earth. The scripture verse taken from the Word of God that accompanies our motto, “Loving God, Loving One Another and Sharing Jesus with the World” is 2 Corinthians 4:5 which states, “For we do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.” This church exists for the glory of God, and we at North Shelby Baptist Church are servants who seek to magnify the good news of Jesus Christ in all we say and do.
