North Shelby Baptist Church is excited to welcome you and your family to NSBC Kids! Our desire is to partner with parents as we minister to the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of every child. Through Bible study, missions, discipleship, worship, and serving others, we seek to live out our church mission of “Joyfully leveraging our lives for the Gospel of Christ” in everything we do.
SBC Kids serves children from bed babies through 5th grade. Each classroom is age-specific and staffed by trained, loving caregivers who have completed background checks. We are committed to providing a safe, secure, and caring environment where your child can grow, learn, and feel loved.

SUNDAY MORNINGS
8:00/10:30 Worship Services – Childcare and Bible lessons are provided for bed babies through Kindergartners. A worship guide/activity page that coincides with our Pastor’s message is located in the foyer of the church on the “I Got The Message!” display to help our first through fifth graders stay engaged during the service. (Our NSBC Kids monthly newsletter is also provided.)
9:15 Sunday School – NSBC Kids study God’s Word with Gospel Project for Kids curriculum from Lifeway. It’s more than a story—it’s good news! Children of all ages dive deep into the big story of the Bible—God’s plan to rescue His people through His Son, Jesus Christ!

Preschool 3 – Kindergarten: TeamKID Bible Lessons
Babies – 2 year olds: Our precious little ones are cared for by wonderful adults who make sure little ones are safe and loved!
*All adults who serve in NSBC Kids have background checks.
WEDNESDAY EVENINGS
Children in Grades 1-5: Choir/Missions – our grade school kids have a great time preparing in the fall season for a Christmas choir program and learning worship songs in the spring season. In Missions, they learn about and actively pray for our North American and International Missions while also participating in mission projects. They’re also occasionally visited by church members who share about their mission journeys nationally and around the world.
Preschool 3 – Kindergarten: Choir/Mission Friends – our preschoolers learn that God so loved the world that He gave His only Son. Yet while focusing on North American and International Missions, they learn that some people do not know about God’s love and need to hear the truth of Jesus Christ.
Babies (2 year olds): Our precious little ones are cared for by wonderful adults who ensure little ones are safe and loved!
