Meet Our Pastor

Mike Meadows

Pastor Mike (Michael C. Meadows) was born in Columbus, OH but he was raised in a military family and graduated high school in North Carolina.  Pastor Mike served as a SGT in the U.S. Army from 1998 until 2003 when he met his wife while stationed at Ft. Hood TX.  By God’s grace his wife was used to help lead him to Christ, after which they were married in 2003.  Pastor Mike has also served as a police officer in Temple, TX from 2004-2009.  During that time, he served as a bi vocational Youth Minister at Memorial Baptist Church in Temple, TX and a police chaplain.  Pastor Mike was ordained to the Gospel Ministry in 2009.  Since that time, he has served as the senior pastor of two congregations in Texas before coming to North Shelby.  Pastor Mike has a Master’s in Theological Studies and is committed to seeing God’s church be more biblically faithful and theologically thoughtful as they strive to be the Body of Christ in their local community around the world.  As a result of this conviction, Pastor Mike is committed to preaching and teaching expositionally through books of the Bible.  Pastor Mike is married to his best friend Trina, who is from Enterprise, AL.  Together they have six children; Noah, Christian, Hannah, Faith, Abigail, and Benjamin.
