We believe every child is a unique gift from God, created with individual personalities, abilities, and purpose. Our goal is to nurture each child spiritually, socially, emotionally, and academically while helping them develop confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning.

Tiny Blessings serves children ages four months through Pre-K and uses the curriculum, “My Father’s World”, which combines biblical principles with foundational preschool education. In addition to daily learning activities, children participate in prayer, Bible truths, and chapel experiences designed to help them grow in their understanding of God’s love.

Our program meets three days a week—Monday, Wednesday, and Friday—from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM, September through May.

Staff Qualifications

Tiny Blessings is committed to hiring teachers and caregivers who are nurturing, encouraging, and passionate about early childhood development. Our staff strives to create a positive, loving classroom environment where children feel safe, supported, and valued as they learn and grow. Each member of our team is dedicated to the mission and philosophy of North Shelby Baptist Church and recognizes the important role they play in the development of every child.

To help provide a safe and secure environment for all children in our program, all staff members complete required background screenings, including criminal history checks and state child abuse/neglect registry clearances. These procedures meet Department of Human Resources (DHR) requirements as well as the Alabama Baptist Church’s Safe Sanctuaries guidelines.
